U.S. & Mexico Fugitives Extradited
In 2002, over fifty fugitives from Mexico and the U.S. were apprehended and returned to their country to face justice for their crimes.

Wanted Fugitive Located in U.S.
In 2001 a wanted fugitive from Sonora, Mexico, living in the U.S. illegally was located and turned over to the Border Patrol where the suspect fought the deportation claiming he was a U.S. citizen because he served in the military. Every claim he made was proven false. The suspect had been convicted earlier for drug trafficking and had claimed to be a U.S. Citizen and was on probation when Border Patrol arrested him. The suspect is now serving a long prison term in Sonora, Mexico.
